It is located in the bay between the old and new towns and is guarded. Immediately behind it are the city garden, the bus station, the “Apollonia” amphitheatre, and the central street of the old town.
Harmany Beach
Also known as the South Beach, it is located at the end of the new town, with the new town at one end and the “Budzhaka” villa zone at the other. The beach strip is long and wide, with plenty of space for personal umbrellas and many attractions for tourists. Immediately behind the beach is the so-called “Happy Street”, full of various establishments, discotheques, and other entertainment for tourists.
Bujaka Beach
A small beach at the start of the locality of the same name, immediately to the south of Harmanite Beach. It's guarded and has a free zone for umbrellas. At the southern end of the beach, there is a unique underwater spot among limestone rocks for all keen divers!!!
Paradise Bay
A small bay in the Budjaka area, 2 km south of old Sozopol, 500 m south of Budjaka Beach and 2 km north of Kavatsite Beach. They are separated by the protected area “Kolokita”, which enchants with its combination of picturesque landscapes, coastal rocks, small coves resembling fjords, and sea waters.
Kavatsi and Smokinya Beaches
They are located 4 kilometres south of Sozopol's Old Town, between the capes of St. Hristo and Agalina. This is an entire area where the campsites are situated. They have restaurants, daytime bars, and shops. As night falls, the holiday spirit moves to the night bars. And for sports enthusiasts, the campsites offer pedalos, canoeing, surfing, jet skiing, water skiing, beach volleyball, and more.
Dunes Beach
This is one of Bulgaria's most beautiful beaches. It is located 8 km south of Sozopol. The sand dunes there are natural. The beach strip is 4.5 kilometres long and up to 50 metres wide, covered with fine white sand. A large part of the specific sand plants found on the dunes are included in the Red Book of Bulgaria. Duni Beach is a recipient of the “Blue Flag” clean environment award.
Arkutino Beach
It is located 15 km south of Sozopol, near the mouth of the Ropotamo River. The beach is one of the few on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast that is not overdeveloped, and the area is unique for its wild nature. Nearby is the “Arkutino” Nature Reserve – a species-rich place including islands, rocks, sandy beaches, bays, dunes, the Arkutino marsh, forests and meadows. The mild climate is ideal for the proliferation and great diversity of plant and animal species.
Goldfish
Also known as the Royal Beach, it is located 3 km north of Sozopol and connects the Gradina and Zlatna Ribka campsites. The beach is very long and relatively uncrowded, while also offering the amenities of the two campsites due to its proximity to them. With its cleanliness and beauty, this beach attracts thousands of foreign and Bulgarian tourists every year. The beach strip with sand dunes is 50 metres wide and features sun loungers and umbrellas, attractive sea entertainment, surfing schools, sports facilities and eateries.
